LG might be a bit late to the game, but its new Android 2.1 powered Ally for Verizon is a nice piece of kit. It features a good touchscreen display, a very nice keyboard, and some genuinely nice LG developed widgets and UI tweaks. With speed like that of Motorola's DROID, the Ally is looking pretty good.

A full written review of the phone, with tons of photos, will be posted within the next week. Stay tuned.

Just got the Ally and really like it...although, major issue with Bluetooth headset. Can receive calls but, no voice commands to call out from Bluetooth. Looked for App (as suggested by LG) but, not having much luck. Any ideas on this? I have a Motorola Bluetooth headset that has worked on all my phones but the Android. Verizon states it is an issue with all Androids.....Very frustrated since I use my phone in the car quite a bit. Have to stop, dial from phone then will pickup call on headset. Weird that it does half the deed! Thanks for any info. Great video by the way.
