Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness - unboxing and demo
Video by Michael Oryl on Friday October 30, 2009.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X5 Pureness is a unique phone. It has a see-through display and a really slick looking design. What it lacks, however, is usability. But either way, it sure is interesting. Check it out in this video unboxing and demonstration.
For those of you interested in what the deal with the headset is, it turns out to be a Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800 Bluetooth headset. They are actually very cool, and worked really well - once I found a user guide for them. Good sound and a really great design. The back of the right ear bud pops off so that it can be attached to a normal Sony Ericsson fastport charger. There is a small button on the center portion that turns power on and off and also acts as the call send/end button. A microphone is built into that same piece.

The headset is BT (A2DP). All electronics are in the ear bud. They switch on when in the ear and off when removed.
