Motorola DROID for Verizon unboxing

Video by Michael Oryl on Thursday October 29, 2009.

A quick unboxing and initial look at Motorola's new DROID for Verizon, the first Android 2.0 (Eclair) smartphone to hit the market.

The Motorola DROID features a huge 3.7-inch touchscreen that offers 852 x 480 pixel (WVGA) resolution. There is also a 5 megapixel autofocus camera on board, and it features a dual-LED flash. A full QWERTY keyboard is available for messaging tasks, and the DROID supports integration with Gmail, Exchange, IMAP/POP, and even Facebook for messaging.

Check out the Android Authority Motorola DROID post for a large gallery of photos I shot of the device.
