Today Samsung announced its latest bada powered smartphone, the S7230E Wave 723.

The Wave 723 offers a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and auto-focus, an FM radio, Dolfin Browser 2.0, aGPS, Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR, 90MB of onboard memory, and a microSD card slot that supports cards with 16GB capacities.

The Wave 723 was developed based on the bada SDK verison 1.1, which offers auto-UI scaling, That means developers can easily port bada apps over to the Wave 723.

The Wave 723, which measures in at a slim 11.8mm x 53.9mm x 109.5mm (.46in x 2.1in x 4.3in ) also has a metallic back cover, and a leather flip cover that protects its front screen.

Samsung expects the Wave 723 to launch in September in Germany. It will then have subsequent launches in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Pricing for the phone was not announced.
