Google's homepage for its Nexus One smartphones, google.com/phone, used to have a "coming soon," note for interested Verizon Wireless customers. Today that has been swapped with a new message: "For Verizon's network, you can buy the Droid Incredible by HTC, a powerful Android phone and similarly feature-packed cousin of the Nexus One." We're not sure if that means the Nexus One is never coming, but it does suggest that the DROID Incredible, a more feature rich device with the same operating system and similar specs, may be the closest Verizon Wireless customers will get to the Nexus One.
