The as-yet unannounced PCD Escapade appears to be showing Verizon's intentions to bring world roaming to more affordable handsets. This clamshell cell phone is believed to support CDMA networks such as Verizon's, as well as GSM networks, thanks to a built-in SIM card slot.
The Escapade appears to include a small external display, along with a 2 megapixel camera and a 2.5mm headset jack, as well. The phone is assumed to be headed towards Verizon's product lineup soon, though no official details are currently available. [via PhoneArena.com]
