Rebate forms from AT&T reveal phones from Motorola, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson
Rumors by Ricky Cadden on Monday May 11, 2009.
Three new phones have been revealed on the latest AT&T mail-in rebate forms, fueling hopes that the new models will appear on AT&T's shelves soon. The Motorola QA1, code named Karma, is the first to be revealed, and is supposedly a slider form factor smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard.
The Samsung i637 Jack is also listed on the rebate form. This model is believed to support AT&T's 3G network, as well as AT&T's MediaFLO mobile tv service. WiFi is also expected to be on board. The Sony Ericsson C905a is also listed, and is slightly more well-known. The Sony Ericsson C905a is a slider that packs in a whopping 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, Xenon flash, and native geotagging with its built-in GPS receiver.
It should be noted that these rebate forms are known to list handsets that get canceled along the way, so it's not a sure-fire promise that these handsets will be carried, but it's a good indicator. [via Boy Genius Report]
