Motorola Calgary rumored to sport Android, while the Inferno and Flash have been canceled
Rumors by Ricky Cadden on Wednesday April 29, 2009.
Rumored Motorola Calgary
Boy Genius Report started the day off with a trio of Motorola rumors, the first of which claims that Motorola's first Android-powered smartphone will be the Calgary. This smartphone was leaked several months ago, and is believed to feature a predictably RAZR-esque design. A slide-out QWERTY keyboard is believed to be hiding under its large touchscreen display, as well.
Also, it is believed that the Motorola Inferno and Motorola Flash have both been canceled. These unannounced models were also leaked a few months ago, with the Flash being a standard tablet-style touchscreen cell phone, and the Inferno as somewhat of a flip.
Finally, there are rumblings that Motorola is working on a new phone, code named Rolex. This cell phone reportedly uses the same hardened glass display from the Motorola Aura, though no other details are known.
