T-Mobile rumored to launch the Samsung SGH-T349 with a 20-key keypad
Rumors by Ricky Cadden on Monday April 27, 2009.
T-Mobile is believed to be preparing to launch the Samsung SGH-t349, a candybar cell phone that features a 20-key hybrid QWERTY keypad. The t349, apparently positioned as a messaging phone, should also sport a 1.3 megapixel camera with video capture.
Boy Genius Report claims that this phone should be available from T-Mobile for both prepaid and post-paid consumers on or around May 20, though pricing details are not available. The Samsung SGH-t349 is also reported to feature Bluetooth connectivity, for wireless handsfree headsets, as well as a built-in speakerphone and support for T-Mobile's Mobile Backup service.
