Unannounced Samsung S8000 Cubic features leak out
Rumors by Ricky Cadden on Thursday April 16, 2009.
Supposedly, details of the unannounced Samsung S8000 Cubic have leaked out, revealing a touchscreen display and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera. This candybar cell phone is believed to feature quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support, with dual-band UMTS (900/2100MHz) and HSDPA for high-speed data. WiFi is also believed to be on board, with a built-in GPS receiver for navigation services, too.
Initial reports suggested that the Samsung S8000 Cubic might be powered by Google's Android operating system, but Androphones.com says the correct translation of the original Euroset.ru page in Russian simply reveals an updated version of Samsung's TouchWiz user interface.
