Nokia's next touchscreen smartphone could be the 5530 XpressMusic
Rumors by Ricky Cadden on Monday April 13, 2009.
Nokia's next touchscreen smartphone could be called the 5530 XpressMusic, according to recent rumors at DailyMobile.se. The 5530 XpressMusic reportedly rocks a 2.9-inch touchscreen display and is powered by Nokia's S60 5th Edition platform. This new smartphone is reportedly planned to be unveiled in September, possibly at Nokia's annual Nokia World event. Nokia World is taking place September 2-3 in Stuttgart, Germany this year.
The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic supposedly also features built-in WiFi for high-speed data connections, alongside a microSD card slot and 150MB of internal storage for applications and such. A 3.2 megapixel camera and standard 3.5mm audio port are also believed to be on board. Interestingly, these specifications also match the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, which was released late last year. Hopefully Nokia has some other features in store for the 5530 XpressMusic to differentiate it a bit.
