T-Mobile 2009 cell phone schedule rumored
Rumors by Ricky Cadden on Monday April 06, 2009.
TmoNews.com is reporting that a trusted tipster has obtained release dates for over a dozen new T-Mobile cell phones. Apparently, the Sidekick 2009 is expected to be available on May 13, while the HTC Snap is supposed to land on July 1. The HTC Touch Pro2 is scheduled for release as the "WingII" on July 22.
In addition, an unannounced Sony Ericsson cellphone, dubbed the CS8, is believed to be available on June 24. The "CS8" title suggests it might be an 8 megapixel Cyber-Shot cameraphone, though that's unconfirmed. The Nokia 1661 will apparently be available for the prepaid side of the market on April 29.
There are also supposedly six new Samsung T-series cellphones, though these are not smartphones. The Samsung SGH-T349 is expected on May 6, and the SGH-T239 on May 13. On July 15, both the SGH-T559 and SGH-T469 are supposedly planned to be available, while the SGH-T749 will wait until July 22. The Samsung SGH-T659 is reportedly coming on August 19, just in time for back-to-school sales.
