RIM possibly launching a video service next week?
Rumors by Ricky Cadden on Thursday March 26, 2009.
It is believed that RIM is gearing up to announce a new video subscription service next week at the CTIA show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The service is reported to make it possible for user to download full TV episodes over a WiFi connection, to be watched later. It is believed that there will be a monthly subscription required, as well.
This rumored video service from RIM will apparently not allow video content to be downloaded or streamed over a cellular connection in an effort to avoid frustrating users with spotty network coverage, and taxing carriers' networks. [via NewTeeVee.com]
