Nokia E71x for AT&T reportedly delayed due to email issues
Rumors by Ricky Cadden on Tuesday March 24, 2009.
Despite last week's report that the Nokia E71x was finally showing up in AT&T stores across the country, Boy Genius Report is now claiming that the QWERTY-equipped smartphone is being delayed due to email issues with Nokia's Mail for Exchange application and that the phone requires a new firmware update before it can be sold.
There is, however, a silver lining - apparently Nokia is pushing for the E71x to be priced at $149.99, after a 2-year commitment and $50 mail-in rebate, and AT&T is possibly agreeing. The Nokia E71x is now expected to be delayed by up to 8 weeks, meaning it might ship in May.
