Apple possibly adding premium games to iPhone App Store
Rumors by Ricky Cadden on Friday January 30, 2009.
Please note that this story is based upon rumor and/or speculation.
New speculation suggests that Apple might be gearing up to launch a new premium games section of its App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The premium games section would include higher quality games, with prices set at $19.99.
PocketGamer.biz quotes a source as saying that this option will only be available to the larger publishing companies, such as Gameloft and Electronic Arts, as opposed to being freely available for all iPhone developers. [via PocketGamer.biz]
