Palm's Nova smartphone OS rumored to be coming at CES 2009
Rumors by Ricky Cadden on Monday January 05, 2009.
CrunchGear is reporting that Palm will be announcing its new Nova smartphone operating system this week at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new operating system has been under development for several years, and is reportedly 'amazing', with a new software market and new media playback features.
CrunchGear's sources claim that the new OS will be launched on an all-new smartphone, as well. The new handset supposedly sports a portrait-oriented touchscreen display, with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
We have heard through our own sources that the new smartphone will feature a high-resolution camera, and will be launched as an exclusive with Sprint, though we were unable to officially confirm that.
