HP Pre 3 rumored to hit Verizon, AT&T in July, Skype integration in tow

PreCentral has acquired some new information regarding the HP Pre 3 from a tipster. The anonymous tip claims that the webOS smartphone will arrive on Verizon Wireless and possibly AT&T around July 21.

According to the tipster, the Pre 3 will ship with webOS 2.2 on-board, complete with Skype integration in the Synergy contacts and messaging applications. It is said that this Skype integration will enable video chat with the front-facing camera. It should be possible to make and receive Skype calls with your Skype contacts as well.

The tipster went on to claim that the Pre 3 will arrive for Verizon Wireless on July 21. PreCentral also speculated that it will land on AT&T around that time as well.

While there is no official confirmation on any of this, it can be safely said that HP needs to release the Pre 3 as soon as possible, and if it does arrive at the end of July, it would be within the "summer" timeframe that was quoted when the new phone was announced.
