An unconfirmed rumor originating from sources at Wirefly is floating around that suggests the newly announced Xperia Play from Sony Ericsson may land stateside on Verizon Wireless. The Xperia Play is an Android smartphone that has been referred to as the PlayStation phone and is expected to offer a full PlayStation style controller and large touchscreen display.
