T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide review - bigger screen, and a new keyboard
Review by Michael Oryl on Tuesday June 01, 2010.

Summary
The new T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide is the second HTC-developed Android smartphone to wear the T-Mobile myTouch badge. This time around myTouch gets to brag about a hardware keyboard and a pretty current Android 2.1 operating system with HTC Sense user interface extensions. That's not too shabby.
The phone is not perfect, though it tries pretty hard to be so. The keyboard has great feel, but is visually flawed. The build of the phone just isn't as rich feeling as it could be, either. But there is still a lot to love. The 5MP auto-focus camera works pretty well, and the upgraded display is a winner. In spite of a few software missteps on T-Mobile's part, the apps, home screen widgets, and overall customization options on the phone are great.
If QWERTY keyboards and Android are your thing, then the myTouch 3G Slide is probably something you'll want to consider.

Slick phone, but has only 145 MB for apps, slightly more than my G1 phone. However, the demo could not load an app because it ran out of memory. My wife's original MyTouch has 288mb available after loading her apps. I will wait for a non-amnesia version.

Great phone for a beginner smartphone user like myself. Easy to use and understand. Now that I've stepped into 2010, I use my smartphone a lot! Thus the battery is not very good at all. The most I get out of it is 6 hours. I charge it about twice a day. Other than that, it is great.

Are you sure about multiple exchange accounts? I don't think the HTC mytouch 3g Slide supports multiple exchange accounts.

I recieved my phone on August 8th. I couldnt send or recieve MMS- pic messages. called tmobile and they said it was a known issue, Went through trouble shooting and was told that I should get an update by the 18th. August 19th no update. I called them again and they decided to send me a new phone. I recieved the new phone adn that dosent work for mms either. I recieved the update today 8/28 and the MMS still does not function. I have logged 47.5 hours on the phone with tmobile trying to get this resolved and all that i recieve in return is more bs. This phone is horrible and the customer service from tmobile is even worse.
