Sprint has announced the SANYO SCP-6760 Incognito, a basic feature phone with a full-QWERTY keyboard and a 2.0 megapixel camera, launching now for the holidays.
The Incognito includes a mirrored surface with an OLED external display and light-accented buttons that provide haptic feedback when touched. The device flips open to reveal a full-QWERTY keyboard and a full-sized 2.6-inch QVGA display.
Users can take photos and shoot video with a 2.0 megapixel camera, saving media to external microSD cards. Access to social networks, like Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter is available to users, as well. Basic applications, like Sprint NFL Mobile Live, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile and others are also available.
The SANYO SCP-6760 Incognito will be available with Sprint on November 30 for $49.99 with a two-year customer agreement, after a mail-in rebate.

will it require a data plan

Does it have a touch screen?
texascindyann @ 8:46:56PM EST on Sunday December 6, 2009
will not require a data plan but you can purchase one for an additional $10 per month and the outside phone is a touchscreen for the number pad; it disappears when not in use. the internal screen is not a touch pad but is 2.6 inches in diameter which is huge and it takes 2.0 megapixel photos and videos.

Just got the incognito yesterday. I had a Samsung Instict before this which I loved until it got wet (works fine now but ordered this phone before I knew it would be ok). So the outside screen isn't the greatest but it serves it's purpose -dialing calls. It really is not good for anything else. You can access your contacts, etc. from the outside screen but you might as well just open it up instead of trying to read the tiny print and then getting it to do what you want from the outside screen. The inside really makes up for it though. I've seen alot of texting phones similar to this one but this is by far the nicest screen I've seen. It's pretty big and the options are endless. Like I said, I JUST got this phone but so far, SO good!

Is this phone Wifi? So if you do not have a data plan you can still connect to your home wireless?

what happens if you were to get an email with an attachment like a word doc. can you save that to your SD card and then transfer it to a computer? or can you even see the attachment period?
TeeBee @ 5:50:48PM EST on Thursday December 17, 2009
I just upgraded my phone and the Incognito is one of the best phones you can have! SIMPLE AND EASY
(Other then the outside screen)

I've had this for a month and like it, but it won't display the image I choose for the screensaver. It did the first few days, but now it assigns the photo, but just shows a black background. I restored the factory defaults today and still no luck...am I dreaming? Did it never support this feature...I just want to choose a photo for the background of the main (interior) screen.
