Verizon Wireless and LG have announced the enV TOUCH, a new folding device with a vivid, high resolution 3-inch external touchscreen display that unfolds to reveal another 3-inch internal display and a full-QWERTY keyboard to let users easily message friends and family. The device's external touchscreen has tactile vibration feedback so users know the display has registered a finger touch.

The enV TOUCH lets users snap pictures with a 3.2 megapixel camera and camcorder. With a variety of shooting types and color effects, users can create interesting photo compositions. An integrated music player will play a variety of music formats stored on the device's microSDHC(INFO) card slot, which support 16GB cards. Users can also store and view many Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents, as well as Adobe PDF files. Hands-free headsets are supported since the device has Bluetooth connectivity. The LG enV Touch also supports the standard suite Verizon services, like V CAST Music with Rhapsody, V CAST Video, Chaperone, VZ Navigator and more. Visual Voice Mail is also supported.

The LG enV TOUCH will be available June 5 for $149.99 after a two-year customer agreement and $50 mail-in rebate.

Hi, I watched your video on youtube but I was wondering if the phone allows you to create ringtones from voiceclips, send them to your phone in txt messages and save the sound clips as a ringtone, or send the tones from your computer?

One think that it is important to point out is that ALL of the new LG VZW phones have a major flaw. You can't add words to the T9 dictionary permanently. LG has refused comment on this issue on their own forums. In addition this ' bug ' was introduced in 2008 for the chocolate 2 v4 firmware. VZW made LG aware of this in December 2008, and a fix came out that was never released to the public.

LG has had this great feature on their phones for years and the public enjoyed it, and then they come around and CRIPPLE it, and refusing comment on it.

Everyone should research these phones ( Howard Forums ) before getting anyone of these phones since there are a lot of issues ( took mine back )

I just got this phone this week and I love it. The only thing is that the battery life isn't that long but that's what your charger is for. Everything else is fantastic. I'm so glad I got this phone.

To carm:
I just got this phone last week. I can add words to the T9 dictionary. Spell it out, then before hitting space, change back to T9....it is now stored in your dictionary for future use.

I just got the Env Touch. Is there a way to attach a wrist strap to it? I don't see anyplace on the phone for that.
