Samsung launches B5702 newest dual-SIM phone

Snapshot by Brian James Kirk on Wednesday April 08, 2009.

Samsung has launched the B5702, its newest dual-SIM mobile phone, allowing users to manage multiple mobile accounts on one device. This quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) device also supports EDGE data connectivity.

Above the phone's 2.4-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) LCD display, the B5702 has two LED lights on its face that light up depending on which SIM card is in use. In addition, the phone can also be personalized with themes, melodies, and screensavers so users will know which SIM card is active. A dedicated hot-key allows for multitasking between the cards without rebooting.

Users are able to browse e-mail and the web, and can enjoy photos and video captured by the B5702's 3 megapixel camera. They can listen to FM radio with RDS, and will appreciate the phone's slim form-factor that manages to pack all of that technology in. The Samsung B5702 will be launched in several markets, including Russia, in May 2009.
