Sony Ericsson has unveiled details about the Sony Ericsson S312, its newest affordable camera phone.

Users can record video and take photos to capture their favorite moments with the device's 2 megapixel camera. The S312's dedicated video camera key and illuminated imaging shortcuts make it easy to snap shots. Later, showcase the multimedia on the 2-inch screen and share it over Bluetooth or on the web.

The device also includes Sony Ericsson's media player with PlayNow, TrackID, stereo Bluetooth, and more. The S312 supports dual-band GSM (900/1800MHz) with EDGE data connectivity. The Sony Ericsson S312 will be available in blue and silver color schemes in the second quarter. Pricing and carrier availability have not been announced.
