Nokia 7610 at CeBIT 2004
Nokia has launched its first megapixel camera phone at CeBIT with the 7610, a Series 60 based fashion phone. The 7610 has a similar rounded-edge look to the 7600, but has a (relatively) conventional keypad. We got a chance to play with the 7610 for a while and were impressed by its design and imaging functionality.

The 7610 will be available in 2 colors - black and white. Additional Style-Up kits will also be available for users wishing to customize their phone further.

The Nokia 7610 offers a 65K color screen for viewing still images and video captured by the integrated camera and watching video streamed using the built-in RealOne mobile player. The megapixel (1152x864) camera features a 4x digital zoom, night mode, and a self-timer. One of the more interesting applications being demonstrated was a "Movie Director" app designed to allow you to combine, edit, and create video clips. It even had special video themes where you could input various video clips and the phone would automatically decide which scenes were most relevant and create a new video clip using those. Other media, such as text and music can also be added to video clips.
