In an interview with Fierce Wireless, Neville Ray, senior vice president of engineering and operations at T-Mobile USA, said that T-Mobile will launch more G-series mobile phones in 2009. While he did not say that the phones would be powered by Google's Android operating system, T-Mobile's G1 runs on Google's popular linux-based OS.
Ray also said that T-Mobile's consumer market is the company's "sweet spot," and that it has seen success with Google's G1 and the Samsung Behold. [via AndroidGuys]
