Snapshot by Brian James Kirk on Thursday January 29, 2009.

Nokia has announced its Nokia 2700 classic candybar phone. This quad-band phone with GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support is a smart blend of affordability and features.

Photos and video recorded with the 2700's 2 megapixel camera will shine on its 2-inch, 240x320 resolution display. Nokia 2700 users can share their memories on Nokia's Ovi Share online image and video repository. With its integrated 3.5mm stereo headphone jack and microSD card slot for expanded memory, the 2700 can compliment any music connoisseur's on-the-go media player arsenal.

The Nokia 2700 is available in jet black, mahogany red, and frost grey. It is estimated to cost 65 EUR (US$85) before taxes and subsidies, and is expected to ship in the second quarter of 2009 to markets in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, North Africa, and North America.
