Snapshot by Ricky Cadden on Tuesday January 06, 2009.

Motorola unwrapped the Tundra VA76r for AT&T today at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. This ruggedized clamshell features MilSpec shock, dust, and moisture resistance as well as a 2 megapixel camera and an accompanying microSD card slot that can work with cards as large as 4GB in capacity.

The Tundra VA76r packs in quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and dual-band UMTS (850/1900MHz) with HSDPA for high-speed data transfers. The Tundra VA76r also features aGPS support, for AT&T Navigation voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation. The VA76r is also one of the first Motorola handsets to feature its improved CrystalTalk+ noise reduction system, which uses dual microphones to quiet background and wind noise, making it ideal for outdoor use.

The Tundra is planned to be available January 13th from AT&T, though pricing has not been announced.

I recently got this phone for my daughter's father and we have a question about ring tones (apparently i'm doing this search everywhere for many phones lol) according to the tones already on his phone they're in .dcf format. I have a program that makes mp3 and wma ring tones but obviously his phone doesn't take that. any ideas on how i can help him get or make tones that he doesn't have to pay for? the phone was expensive enough and i can't afford that kind of bill!
thanks for your help
