HP unveils new iPAQ Voice Messenger smartphone

HP iPAQ Voice Messenger
HP has unveiled its new iPAQ Voice Messenger today, complete with a 3.1 megapixel autofocus camera and a built-in GPS receiver. The new Voice Messenger also sports a handy 20-key hybrid QWERTY keyboard, for quick text entry, as well as a 2.4" QVGA display.
The iPAQ Voice Messenger is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, and it has 128MB of RAM and 256MB of internal storage, which is backed up by a microSD card slot for extra storage. Connectivity is taken care of with quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support, in addition to tri-band UMTS (900/1900/2100MHz) with
HP expects the iPAQ Voice Messenger to be available through Vodafone UK in November 2008, with other countries and carriers following soon. Pricing is set at GBP333 (US$566) before taxes and subsidies.
