Philips recently introduced the new Fisio 530, another phone targeted towards younger audiences. The 530 is the first GSM handset to allow its users to create a total music experience. The BeDJ feature of the Philips 530 can be used to create music mixes, store up to 9 tracks, and share the music mixes. BeDJ is a real time music composer that allows users to use the 530 as a music mix panel. You can pick and choose instruments for each track and change the tempo of the tracks to your liking. There is no other phone that lets you remix tracks with 9 different embedded sounds. It also has the ability to record new tracks and use them as ringtones.

Philips has enlisted some well-known DJs to support the 530's launch in Europe. Dance DJs such as Carl Cox, Mauro Picotto, Cut Killer, Sander Kleinenberg, and one more DJ yet to be announced, are all providing the phone with exclusive content that you can mix with.

The 530 does not have an integrated camera but it does have an add-on device which rotates a full 360 degrees. It can also takes pictures at night using "Night Mode". The 530 will be encased in a full metal and will be available in a variety of colors. The Phone is expected to be released in Europe and Asia immediately.
