Plantronics is known for designing Bluetooth headsets that are both good looking and great performers, and the Plantronics Explorer 360 is no exception. Clad in a stylish slate blue metallic color, the 360 is slim and lightweight. The Explorer 360 only comes with an AC power cord, but that's really all you need for this small headset. Conveniently, this Bluetooth headset uses a micro-USB port for charging, so you can also use any micro-USB cable to recharge the headset from your laptop, for example.

The Plantronics Explorer 360 Bluetooth headset measures 55mm (2.2") long, and features a single multipurpose button on the outside. There is a volume rocker along one side of the device, allowing you to easily adjust the volume for maximum comfort. The micro-USB charging port is located at the back end of the headset, protected from dust and debris by a small rubber door. The multicolored LED notification light is located in the center of the multifunction button on the outside of the headset.

The eargel on the Explorer 360 is not user-changeable, and is offered as a one-size fits all. Made from sturdy rubber, this eargel only slightly peeks inside your ear, which allows it to block most outside noise. The ear hook swivels and rotates, allowing the 360 to be worn on either your right or your left ear easily. After several hours of wearing the headset, I did not experience any soreness or discomfort from the eargel or the ear hook.

When you first turn the headset on, the LED notification light flashes red and blue, to notify you that it's ready to pair with your cell phone. This pairing mode can be reactivated later by holding the multifunction button down until the light flashes red and blue again. The light will flash blue to indicate that you've successfully paired your phone. This LED notification will also flash purple to let you know if you have a missed call, or to notify you of an incoming call.

Once connected, answering a call on the Plantronics Explorer 360 is as simple as pressing the multifunction button. If you'd rather reject the call, you can do this by pressing and holding the same button for a few seconds. Ending an active phone call is also easily accomplished by pressing this multifunction button once.

I have just purchased this Plantronics Explorere 360. I have small ears and it fits great. I had an old one from USA Wireless, it would not stay put. Would give this a thumbs up. No Echo while talking.

I purchased the Plantronics Explorer 360 for my husband but I am afraid I will end up with it. He liked how it fit his ears but he is a little hard of hearing and wasn't able to hear the ringer tone very well.

This headset is is up there with the best Blue Tooths. It is reasonably priced, has great sound quality, and is marvelously designed. It only takes 2 hours to charge for 7 hours of talking. I would highly recomend this product.
