Verizon Blitz QWERTY phone now available

Snapshot by Ricky Cadden on Monday August 25, 2008.

Verizon has quietly added the Blitz to its cell phone lineup. It is a cellphone that sports a QWERTY keyboard and a slider form factor. The Blitz features a 2.2" display, set in landscape orientation, with 220x176 pixel resolution.

The Verizon Blitz offers a modest multimedia experience, thanks to its 1.3 megapixel camera and microSD card slot for extra storage. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for stereo headsets is also on board, alongside support for V CAST Music with Rhapsody subscriptions, for ultimate music enjoyment. It's worth pointing out that the Blitz does not support 3G nor over the air music downloads.

The Verizon Blitz is currently available online, clad in an electric blue color scheme. This cell phone costs $69.99 when purchased online with a 2-year commitment.
