Snapshot by Michelle Ruhfass on Monday August 18, 2008.

Sprint today officially announced availability of a new Motorola cell phone, the MOTORAZR VE20. This folder styled handset sports a large 2.2" QVGA display that is capable of 262k different color shades, and makes use of a smaller 1.6" color display on the outside that offers one touch access to its music player, messages, and other apps.

Highlights include a 2 megapixel camera, a microSD memory card slot that can augment the built-in storage for videos and photos, and GPS. The VE20 also offers an on-board media player and provides users with the option to listen wirelessly via Bluetooth A2DP connectivity or with a 3.5mm headset. 3G EV-DO data is offered on the cell phone, which allows for full support of Sprint's suite of applications, including Sprint TV.

The Motorola VE20 from Sprint is available now for $99.99 after rebates and a two year service agreement.
