Rugged and stylish Motorola V750 Adventure for Verizon

Snapshot by Ricky Cadden on Monday July 21, 2008.

The Motorola V750 has officially landed on Verizon Wireless' network. This ruggedized cell phone meets military specifications to resist shock, vibration, solar radiation, dust, and moisture. The V750 is also slim and stylish, clad in black and red with silver accents.

The V750 is heavy on the features, as well, with a 2 megapixel camera, a microSD card slot, and dedicated music playback buttons on the outside. The 1.6" external color display offers a view into your music, while the 2.2" QVGA internal display should offer a pleasant overall user interface experience.

The first handset to support Verizon's new EV-DO Rev. A-based Push To Talk, the Motorola V750 Adventure is available now, priced at $99.99 with a 2-year commitment and online discount.

I have had this phone for a little over a year, it has been replaced 4 times, and each time, its the SAME problem! It freezes up, I miss calls left and right (wont ring, just suddenly pop up with a missed call), trouble calling out to landlines, and it has recently decided to shut itself off and "reboot" itself. My last one would turn off when I pluged it in to charge, and when I unplugged it, it would turn back on and turn the speaker phone on. They tell me I have to much stuff saved to my phone...5 pics 2 video's and 45 contacts...My samsung I had with Sprint held 3 times as much and had NO issues! My husband has the boulder, and that is another whack! The PTT phones were pushed out too soon before they worked the bugs out. I would not suggest this phone or the boulder to ANYONE! Save your money!

Chelsey, I bet the problems you had with your phone were very frustrating. The good news is that many of those problems have likely been addressed with FOTA - Firmware Over The Air updates. Phones like the V750 can be updated or fixed over the air using the mobile operator's data network - sort of like doing Windows Update but for your phone.
