T-Mobile announced the addition of a new Samsung slider to its portfolio today, the SGH-t819. This new cellphone has a rich feature set with an affordable price tag. Some of its features include text and picture messaging, as well as support for instant messaging. AOL, ICQ, Windows Live, and Yahoo are all supported on the new phone.
This quad-band GSM/EDGE handset takes advantage of T-Mobile's 1900MHz network as well as all the other major GSM networks in the world. It comes pre-loaded with T-Mobile's myFaves application for calling your 5 most commonly called friends or family members for free. The device sports a 1.3 megapixel camera with video capture support and can handle up to 2GB of extra memory in its microSD expandable slot. This cell phone includes an MP3 player and supports Bluetooth A2DP stereo headset capability for wireless listening.
The Samsung SGH-t819 for T-Mobile is available online and in stores now, with pricing set at US$99.99 with a 2 year contract.
