Samsung A517 Available from AT&T

Snapshot by Michael Oryl on Wednesday October 24, 2007.

Samsung recently launched its new SGH-a517 clamshell handset for the AT&T network in the USA. This quad-band GSM/EDGE device supports media features such as AT&T's Mobile Music service as well as MobiTV and MobiRadio. It also has a built-in 1.3 megapixel camear and Bluetooth 2.0 wireless support.

Though it lacks some of the punch of high-end devices, the a517 still features things like a microSD memory card expansion slot and a nice 2.1", 262k color display. It also weighs a feathery 82g and measures up at a respectable 15mm in thickness.

The Samsung SGH-a517 is available now on the AT&T website for $49.99, after rebates, with a new 2 year contract.
