BenQ E72 - Stylish Windows Mobile Smartphone

On Monday BenQ announced the E72, a fashion-oriented smartphone based on Windows Mobile 6. The E72 sports quad-band GSM support and WiFi for high-speed connectivity as well as Bluetooth 2.0 for wireless headsets.

The BenQ E72 also has a 2.0 megapixel camera with video capture and a 2.0" 240x320 pixel resolution screen. This device comes with MunduIM pre-installed, allowing users to connect to AIM, ICQ, Yahoo!, MSN, and Gtalk chat clients right out of the box. The E72 has 128MB of internal flash memory, as well as a microSD card slot for expanded memory, with support for capacities up to 2GB.

The BenQ E72 is one of the smallest smartphones around, weighing in at a mere 90g (3.2oz) and measuring 108mm x 46.3mm x 13.8mm (4.3" x 1.8" x .54"). The BenQ E72 will be available in select Asia Pacific and European regions during Q4 2007 in a burgundy and black color scheme.
