Incredible Samsung SGH-Z710 from 3GSM

Snapshot by Brad Kellett on Tuesday February 14, 2006.

While the cameras in most cell phones outside of Japan and Korea are struggling to get to 2.0 megapixel resolution, Samsung has announced the SGH-Z710 3G calmshell from 3GSM, sporting a 3.2 megapixel snapper, along with a whole host of other features.

The Samsung SGH-Z710 will remind many of the Sharp 903, with its swivel screen and shiny black color, and this comparison is not without merit. Both 3G handsets contain a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, a large QVGA screen, and document viewer applications, though the Samsung SGH-Z710 takes it a step further - adding an external screen, more on board memory, and business card recognition and crams it all into a device that is much smaller and lighter than Sharp's effort. The Samsung SGH-Z710 also includes support for MP3/AAC/AAC+/e-AAC+ music, has dual speakers, supports TV output, and microSD memory expansion.

Expect the incredible Samsung SGH-Z710 during Q2 this year for the European market.
