Cingular Launches its First PTT Handset, the LG F7200

Snapshot by Brad Kellett on Tuesday December 06, 2005.

While first seen back in March, the LG F7200 has become the first handset available for Cingular's new Push-to-Talk (PTT) service, and while it lacks a little on the features, it is a stylish handset for the budget conscious.

The LG F7200 comes in a slider form factor, and supports the full range of PTT features that Cingular offer. While it is a little large and heavy, the F7200 does include a 65k color display, speakerphone, and 24Mb of on board memory. The dual band (800/1900Mhz) F7200 also supports GPRS class 10 data transfer, and 40 voice polyphonic ring tones.

Cingular is currently running a special offer, wherein you can get two LG F7200 handsets for $69.99USD after a US$50 mail-in rebate and two year service agreement.
