New video phone: LG G8000

LG G8000At this years' event of ITU Telecom Asia 2002 a large amount of interesting handsets has been revealed. One of these is without any doubt the LG G8000. A dual-display camera phone introducing worlds first 65.536 colors TFD display which can produce similar bright colours with TFT's and at the same time save more energy. The dual band handset (GSM 900 / 1800 MHz) features a built - in CMOS camera with a maximum picture resolution of up to 352 x 288 pixels.
In addition the LG G8000 supports video recording of up to five videos of 30 seconds duration each as well as full palyback control over them. There's also a 2.5MB capacity for pictures, melodies, sounds and videos. LG G8000 also supports GPRS and MMS services and offers the ability to send /receive pictures and movie clips to other compatible handsets.
Its additional features include a built-in MP3 player, support for 40 tone melodies, JAVA games(presumably), and a USB connection to PC's.
