Sprint recently launched the Sanyo MM-8300, the upgrade for the PM-8200 handset that they have been offering for some time now.
The MM-8300 comes in three base colors (Silver, Atlantic Blue, and Red Hot) that can be complemented by an included pair of changeable 'Accent Plates'. Other color plates can be purchased separately for even more possible combinations. The MM-8300 supports a high-quality speakerphone, a video capable VGA camera with flash, and Java application support as standard gear.
Some other highlights include dual 65k color TFT displays, support for Sprint's Ready Link Push To Talk service, a 3D graphics engine for games, and a numeric keypad with a unique green backlight color. Sanyo claims that the 800/1900Mhz CDMA phone, which supports analog fall-back, is capable of 3.5 hours of talk time with the standard battery, or up to as much as 5.5 hours with the optional extended battery.
