LGE and Klausner Technologies Settle Patent Litigation

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Korean handset manufacturer LG Electronics has entered into a worldwide patent license agreement with Klausner Technologies, Inc. for LG Visual Voicemail handsets and the parties have settled their outstanding patent litigation.

The Visual Voicemail patent license covers LG Visual Voicemail enabled models such as the just recently unveiled LG Versa cellular phone.

Current Klausner Technologies' Visual Voicemail patent licensees include major wireless service providers, handset manufacturers and cable/VOIP operators.

LG had been a defendant in the pending patent infringement lawsuit brought by Klausner in the Eastern District of Texas. Klausner is represented in the litigation by the law firm of Dovel & Luner.
