Cingular Tone Cards: The Gift That Keeps on Ringing
Press Release posted by Michelle Ruhfass on Tuesday November 21, 2006.
Whether You're a Cingular Customer or Just Shopping for One, Cingular Has Made it Easy to Purchase Tones
ATLANTA, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Cingular Wireless, the nation's largest wireless carrier, today introduced Tone Cards, a unique way for consumers to give the gift of ringtones and for Tone Card recipients to easily download their favorite ringtones and graphics.
Tone Cards are essentially prepaid ringtone cards that allow our consumers to purchase tones and graphics in advance rather than incurring charges to their monthly Cingular bill. Whether consumers are looking for holiday stocking stuffers for friends and family or just want a convenient way to put their personal stamp on their mobile phone, Tone Cards may be just the ticket needed to stay tuned-in to the latest ringtones and graphics available at Cingular.
"As the quality and range of ringtones have advanced over the years, so has their popularity," says Rob Hyatt, executive director, premium content, Cingular Wireless. "Ringtones provide an easy and inexpensive way for consumers to personalize their mobile experience, and we believe Tone Cards will make it even more convenient to do so as well as be a unique and personal gift."
Cingular offers a wide selection of ringtones ranging from alternative, classic rock, hip hop, R&B, pop, Latin, country tunes and more. Tone Cards are available in two increments at Cingular Wireless company-owned retail locations:
- $9.99 for four ringtones or graphics
- $19.99 for eight ringtones or graphics
Tone Cards utilize credits which are redeemable for ringtones and graphics. Tone Card users can redeem their credits at Cingular MEdia Mall either via the Cingular website or via their mobile phone. For more information, visit http://www.cingular.com/mediamall.
