PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cardo Systems, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of Bluetooth wireless devices for the consumer market, today announced the introduction of the scala-600, an extremely small form factor Bluetooth headset that provides up to nine hours of talk time and offers standby capabilities of over one week.

As one of the world?s smallest headsets available, the stylish scala-600 includes voice dial and redial features, a noise reduction microphone, speaker booster, and echo canceling technology for clearer conversations.

?The scala-600 simplifies mobile phone use with the universal features that consumers expect in hand-free conversations,? explained Abraham Glezerman, Chairman and CEO of Cardo Systems. ?At just 11.6 grams ? just 0.41 ounces ? the scala-600 is feather-light and works with all BT mobile phones, including hands-free and headset profiles at up to 30 feet. The headset offers a streamlined and easy to use approach to headset design that is both elegant and very user friendly.?

The scala-600 also works with Cardo?s BTA II, which converts standard cellular phones into headset compatible Bluetooth handsets, providing users with a refined, crystal-clear hands-free communication experience. The device supports up to 8 pairings and offers muting capabilities. For left ear use, the volume wheel reverses for ease of use and the blue LED light can be turned off while in use.
