At the decision of a California appeals court, Verizon Wireless will have to shell out $21 million to over 175,000 of its subscribers. The original complaint came in 2008 when customers filed suit against Verizon Wireless after the carrier changed its early-termination fees. The Wall Street Journal says that's about $87.50 per person. Verizon Wireless also increased its early-termination fees last year.
