Yesterday Gizmodo leaked images of an iPhone that could be the next iteration of the smartphone. Today, MSNBC is reporting that an Apple lawyer wrote to Gizmodo saying that "It has come to our attention that Gizmodo is currently in possession of a device that belongs to Apple. This letter constitutes a formal request that you return the device to Apple." The author of the letter is said to be Apple lawyer Bruce Sewell.
