AT&T ZERO Charger eliminates vampire power drawing
Newsbrief by Todd Haselton on Wednesday March 17, 2010.
Today AT&T announced a new eco-friendly charging solution, the AT&T ZERO Charger. The device helps conserve energy by eliminating "vampire drawing," which happens when a charger pulls power even when it's not needed. The device uses a USB connection, allowing it to work with most cellphones. The charger will be available in May and will cost the same as replacement chargers do.
