Pharos 565 |
This morning Pharos released the 565, a device that the company claims is the first rugged PDA to ever run Windows Mobile 6.5.
At 144mm x 53.3mm x 25.4mm (5.7in x 2.1in x 1in) it's fairly bulky, but the 565 comes equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5-inch 320 x 240 QVGA resolution display, a Marvell PXA210 624MHz processor, 512MB of flash ROM, an "ultra sensitive" GPS, IrDA, RAW IR/SIR, WiFi, and Bluetooth. Its rugged design allows it to be dropped from a height of 4-5 feet.
The device is available now for $529.95.
