NETGEAR and Ericsson launch 3G mobile broadband router

Today NETGEAR announced that, working with Ericsson, it is releasing the NETGEAR MBRN3300E 3G mobile broadband router that includes an internal 3G radio.

The 280mm x 150mm x 50mm (6.9in x 1.1in x 4.7in) device broadcasts both 3G and 802.11n signals and can achieve throughput rates of 270Mbps using 802.11n. There are three models available and users can choose between HSPA or EV-DO 3G connectivity. For portability, you can also buy an optional car charger and battery pack.

Pricing is not yet available but NETGEAR says the modem is available today.
