Earlier this evening at a CES press event, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha announced that Motorola plans to offer an Android 2.1 update for its Motorola CLIQ and newly announced BACKFLIP Android smartphones, both of which run Android 1.5 with MOTOBLUR at this time.
Jha did not give any estimate as to when the firmware updates for the two devices will be available.
