The Ferrari Of Mobile Phones

Pininfarina limited edition i833Motorola's latest fashion phone is the Pininfarina Limited Edition i833, designed by Pininfarina, the design company behind such some of the most famous Ferrari and Maserati cars on the market. This marks the debut of the first mobile phone to come out of the alliance between Motorola and Pininfarina.

Based on the Motorola i830 handset, the Pininfarina i833 mobile phone has a titanium-colored finish and a sleek shape inspired by the lines of a Ferrari car. The housing of the handset also features a translucent around the internal display that gives users a peek inside the phone, akin to looking inside the hood of a car.

The Pininfarina i833 is not just a pretty face though. It features a 65K color TFT, iDEN's famous PTT functionality, voice dialing and voice recorder, built-in speakerphone, external caller ID, GPS technology for location-based services, and Java.

The Pininfarina i833 mobile phone is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2004 and will be sold with a leather pouch and unique desktop holder/pass-through charger.
